Year 5 have been hard at work today exploring cubed numbers. They first used unifix cubes to make the shape and then used a multiplication sum to find their values.
We started the day with an inspirational assembly lead by the Eco guardians.
This week the whole school have been involved in Safer Internet Day 2018. This years theme was ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect’. All children have learnt ways in which they could be safer online and also how to create a more positive environment online.
Some of the Year 6 children also hosted whole class assemblies, where they raised and shared good advice and promoted children to make positive online choices.
Year 6 had a really interesting morning learning about different aspects of safety in at Safety in Action.
After discussing issues about e-safety and positive interactions online we created posters, presentations and quizzes to share our learning.
Certificates were awarded to those people who had achieved their reading certificated targets and attended the maths challenge day.
This term we have been creating sequences in gymnastics.

We have been looking at persuasive language and how adverts are presented. We recorded an advert to encourage people to visit Britain.
In art we have exploring drawing from a one-point perspective. We then created our own cityscape drawings.
